Diver Second Class

Navy Diver Second Class personnel conduct air and mixed gas dives, operate diving and recompression equipment, and support underwater inspections, ship repair, salvage, rescue, security, and construction missions. They operate submarine access and rescue systems, perform underwater cutting and demolition, maintain dive equipment, and recognize and assist with treatment of decompression sickness and other diving injuries.
