Diver First Class

Navy Diver First Class personnel supervise air and mixed gas diving operations, recompression chambers, diving equipment maintenance, underwater inspections, salvage, ship repair, rescue, and expeditionary missions. They lead diving teams conducting underwater construction, cutting and welding, precision demolition, submarine support, and treatment of diving related injuries while training personnel and managing complex dive systems.
