Physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians evaluate and treat patients with disabling conditions affecting mobility, function, pain, and independence. They design rehabilitation plans, coordinate therapy teams, manage musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions, and may perform procedures such as joint injections or electrodiagnostic testing.
