Preventive/Occupational Medicine

Preventive and Occupational Medicine physicians identify and reduce health risks from disease, injury, environmental exposure, and workplace conditions affecting military populations. They conduct surveillance, manage immunization and public health programs, advise commanders during emergencies, and provide occupational medicine services involving radiation health, audiology, and mandated worker examinations.
