Laser Weapon System Operator

Laser Weapon System Operators control naval laser weapon equipment during combat system operations and perform required preventive and corrective maintenance. They monitor system status, follow engagement and safety procedures, troubleshoot equipment faults, and maintain operational readiness during tactical and training events.
