Surface Force Independent Duty Corpsman

Serves as an independent medical representative providing patient care, emergency treatment, diagnostics, minor surgery, preventive medicine, and health education aboard ships, with Marine units, or at isolated shore stations. Manages medical records, supplies, radiation health, industrial health surveillance, and medical readiness without continuous physician supervision.
