DZONGKHA identifies Navy personnel who demonstrate proficiency in Dzongkha for assignments requiring communication with Dzongkha speaking communities and review of regional source material. The qualification supports interpretation, translation, cultural understanding, and intelligence or operational reporting involving Bhutan and surrounding Himalayan areas.
